A new 5-star floating hotel is set to open in early August. The hotel is outfitted from an previous boat that has been refurbished during the last year. The only thing is, it now has no engine. It will be unique and exclusive for luxury services with rooms starting at $250 and going up to $800 per night. Called Vintage Luxury Yaht Hotel, it is targeting the high-end market with guests mostly coming from Germany, Russia and Netherlands.
This floating hotel will have 104 rooms, two penthouse suites, two restaurants, two bars, a spa, a jacuzzi and a business center. It will be permanently berthed at Botahtaung Jetty in Yangon.
