Myanmar currently has 66 airports and airstrips covering a huge area with Mandalay, Naypyidaw and Yangon listed as international airports. The Myanmar government is seeking development aid and foreign backers for new and revamped airports. Conversely, foreign airlines are looking for joint ventures with their Myanmar counterparts.
